GS Trailers (gs-trailers) is one resource instead of a pile of one-off trailer scripts. Players hitch almost any trailer to a truck, load cars and boats, open ramps, and store cargo from a custom UI.

More than 40 trailers are pre-configured. Targeting and inventory are detected automatically. No framework required. Add your own models in Config.Trailers.

Haul

Every kind of trailer

Cargo, car, hauler, boat, static, dolly, and b-train trailers all use the same system. Every entry in Config.Trailers can be edited: ramps, extras, bed slots, and inventory.

Drive cars onto a deck and lock them in place. Load boats from nearby, with an offset per trailer. Static decks use a load marker and bed slots. B-trains can be chained, with a limit you set.

UI

Custom UI

When Config.CustomUI is true, a custom UI replaces ox_lib menus. Use the arrow keys to move, Enter to select, and Backspace to go back. Set the on-screen position with Config.CustomUIPosition.

From the same panel you can control ramps, see loaded vehicles, get in if you have keys, and open cargo. Set CustomUI to false if you would rather keep ox_lib menus.

Hitch

Markers that turn green

The hitch-any-trailer keybind (default J) works on addon trucks as long as the hitch bones exist. Markers on the truck and trailer turn from red to green when you can connect.

Static trailers also draw a load marker at the configured point. You can turn either helper off, or change its size, in config.

Stash

Cargo inventory

Each trailer can have its own cargo stash, opened from the UI or the target menu. Set Config.Inventory.System = "auto" to use the first supported inventory that is started: ox_inventory, qb-inventory, ps-inventory, qs-inventory, origen, codem, tgiann, core, jpr, or mf-inventory.

Change slots and weight per trailer, or set inventory = false to hide it on that model. Stashes are named from the trailer plate. If your inventory is not in the list, add it in server/edit.lua.

Open cargo from the UI, or turn it off per trailer

Setup

Trailer offset editor

Use /traileroffset to place the load marker and each bed slot. A ghost vehicle and free camera help you line things up. When you finish, the resource prints a static block and copies it to your clipboard.
