Introduction

GS Racing (gs_racing) is a full-featured racing system for your server: tracks, lobbies, drift, scheduled auto events, meetups, leaderboards, and admin tools — all in a polished tablet / phone UI for QBCore, Qbox, and ESX. Run land races, water races, and air races (cars, motorcycles, boats, and aircraft).

Built for cities that want a real racing scene, not just a race command or a thin “adhoc” UI. Players create courses, host or join races, climb boards, and earn reputation, while admins handle courses and lobbies from the Stewards panel.

Ships ready to run: auto database setup, a starter track pack (82 pre-configured tracks), a large GTA vehicle class map, bundled locales, and public docs. Open Circuit Desk from a standalone racing tablet item (or command), lb-phone, or lb-tablet.

Track creation

Build courses in the world. Place checkpoints, a finish, and props so drivers can actually read the line. Mark a track as sprint, circuit, or drift, then pick the vehicle kind for land (car / motorcycle), water (boat), or air (aircraft). Props and checkpoint feel adapt to the kind you choose. Creation can sit behind reputation, whitelist, or admin access, and staff can verify tracks before they hit the host board.

Cover photos are first-class: paste a URL, pick from the lb-tablet gallery when the app is hosted there, or freecam-capture a shot on standalone Circuit Desk (optional screenshot-basic + FiveManage upload).

Courses & in-app map

Every saved course shows up in the Tracks / Courses list so players can browse before they host or join. Course cards carry the basics (type, vehicle kind, length, verified status), optional cover art, and track stats / top times so people know what they are jumping into.

Preview the full route on an interactive in-app GTA map (Atlas / Satellite / Grid layers, zoom, fit-to-route) — no more “show track” blips on the pause map. Set a GPS to the start, then host from the same surface. Admins can require verification before a course can be hosted. Auto events prefer verified courses with enough length and checkpoints.

Hosted races

Players open a lobby on a track, set fees, class filters, and start time, then everyone rolls up to the start circle to join. You get the full race loop (countdown, freeze, GO, GPS checkpoints, DNF grace), plus phasing so the pack can sort without a start-line pile-up. Prize pools pay out with configurable splits; refunds on cancel or disconnect when you want them.

World DUI — join card & checkpoints

Open lobbies and live races no longer rely on plain floating text. A styled join card sits at the start circle with track name, vehicle class, prize pool, countdown / participants, and context-aware join / host prompts (keybinds only appear when you are close enough to use them). During the race, checkpoint labels float above upcoming gates with live distance, a stem line to the ground, and clear next / finish / countdown states — readable from the back of the grid, with the next checkpoint always kept in view.

Ground courses use a soft hit cylinder matched to the label; aircraft keep ring gates (plain ring when labels are on, no chevron clutter). Toggle either surface in config (Config.JoinWorldCard / Config.CheckpointWorldLabels) if you prefer classic 3D text.

Live grid & auto events

The home Live Grid shows open and upcoming lobbies as clean event tiles — class, purse, field, mode, and status at a glance. Sort by closest, soonest, or purse.

When nobody is hosting, the server still can. Auto events spin up official races on a schedule, open a join window, set prize pools from length / class / type, and can pay participation bonuses. Weight which classes, track types, and vehicle kinds (land / water / air) show up most often so the calendar matches your city.

Drift races finish on score, not lap time. Hold the angle, build the combo, and climb a board that sits separate from time attack.

Meetups, reputation & seasons

Scheduled meetup zones let players hang out and tick racing reputation while they stay in the area. Finishes, wins, and placement bonuses feed the same profile, and skill win tiers can pay a bit of extra podium cash from the system. Leaderboards cover per-track times, drift scores, and season reputation.

Optional seasonal standings resets wipe rep / wins (and optionally timesheets) on a schedule you configure — so the board stays fresh season after season without a manual wipe.

Open Circuit Desk from a standalone racing tablet item, lb-phone, or lb-tablet. Same app surface on each. Includes a vehicle ECU Probe / Scan tab for class / kind checks and an illegal-tune hook (wire to your own resource / framework to block a plate on join or flag it in the scan).
