Moonshining

Illegal Moonshining!

This will enable you and your players to start your own "totally legal" moonshining business on your server.
Players have the freedom to setup their equipment anywhere they'd like whether it be on their own ranch, in the middle of the woods, or on the top of a mountain. This resource is in depth and interactive to provide a fun experience for you and your players.

Compatible with VORP and RSG (auto-detect).

Building Equipment
Players can purchase a Still Kit and Mash Bucket via the moonshiners shop (unless disabled). Once obtained, they can place equipment anywhere on the map (unless configured otherwise). Through intuitive UIPrompts and a placement gizmo (move, rotate, ground, build), players position and build exactly where they want. Stills are outdoor-only. Built equipment can be interacted with by anyone (unless gated via editable hooks), so remote and secure locations matter.

Fermentation
You can't make moonshine with just dry mash. Players buy dry mash from the shop (items can be enabled/disabled per recipe), place a mash bucket, add ingredients, and ferment. They must stir on schedule or the mash expires. Collect fermented mash into the bucket, then take it to a still. Preconfigured with 11 dry mashes, requirements, and 11 moonshines.

Filling the Still
Pour fermented mash into an empty still to start distilling. Fill uses a skill check. Cook times are configurable and persist across restarts in the database.

Maintaining the Still
While cooking, players must maintain the still on a schedule to keep the batch alive. Miss the window and the batch can overcook with nothing to collect. With great reward comes risk.

Explosions & Destruction
Fail a maintain (or fill) skill check and the still can explode. The destroyed prop replaces the still, and dismantling does not return the item. Idle and destroyed equipment can be cleaned up on startup via config.

Distant Smoke
Smoke from a cooking still is streamed to clients within a configurable long range. It rises over tree lines so other players and lawmen can spot active stills and create RP.

Shacks & Shops
Moonshiners shops (if enabled) sit inside RDO-style moonshine shacks. This resource enables shack interiors, prop sets, and UIPrompts to enter/leave. Disable shacks if another resource already handles them. Ambient shop speech plays for welcome, purchase, and related events.

Animations, Sounds & Sync
Actions use full animations with props, not just progress bars. Building plays hammer swings with matching sound. Filling the still drives a moonshining anim plus a still entity anim that is synced so nearby players see the still react too. Stirring, pouring, collecting mash, and collecting moonshine all have dedicated anims. Shopkeepers use ambient ped speech tied to shop events.

This resource uses 0.0 resmon when idle and not within UIPrompt range of equipment, and maintains a light network footprint for a smooth experience. Server event data is verified to prevent remote execution and prints to the server console when a cheater is detected.
